On April 28, 2026, Contemporary Amperex Resources International Investment (Hainan) Co., Ltd. was officially incorporated in Sanya with a registered capital of RMB 5 billion. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Contemporary Amperex Resources Group (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., which is under Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited.

Leveraging the zero-tariff and trade facilitation policies introduced after the island-wide independent customs operation in Hainan FTP, the new company will focus on overseas mineral resource investment and international supply chain management. Its business scope encompasses the sales of mineral resources and metal ores, international freight forwarding, and the import and export of goods. The company aims to accelerate the construction of a security system for upstream new energy resources, injecting fresh momentum into the high-quality development of Hainan's zero-carbon economy.
